Competition terms and conditions
OPEN LEARNING GROUP STANDARD COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.1 The competition is open to residents of Gauteng as specified in the competition post copy.
1.2 Employees of Open Learning Group and their immediate family members, and anyone professionally associated with the competition are ineligible to participate.
- Entry Requirements:
2.1 Participants must take a picture of themselves with Open Learning Group street poles in the background, share it on their Facebook page and tag Open Learning Group or alternatively email the picture to email@example.com as outlined in the competition details.
2.2 Incomplete, illegible, or entries received after the specified deadline will not be considered.
- Prize Details:
3.1 The prize will be as described in the competition announcement, i.e., R3000 off of any Open Learning Group certificate, diploma or degree course of the winner’s choosing.
3.2 Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.
- Winner Selection:
4.1 One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.
4.2 The decision of Open Learning Group is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
- Notification of Winners:
5.1 Winners will be notified via email/direct message within one week of the competition closing date.
5.2 If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within five days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
6.1 Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Open Learning Group to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for promotional and advertising purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
- Data Protection:
7.1 By entering the competition, participants agree that any personal information provided may be used by Open Learning Group for the purpose of administering the competition and for marketing purposes.
- General Conditions:
8.1 Open Learning Group reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Open Learning Group control.
- Governing Law:
9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
