The purpose of this programme is to provide individuals with the skills relating to the southern African road transport industry. The qualifying learner will obtain the relevant underpinning knowledge of road transport operations in order to apply this to all assigned functions.

The programme is designed to address the following specific outcomes:

  • Applying basic road transport managerial principles
  • Applying safety, health and environmental protection procedures
  • Obtaining and communicating road transport operational information
  • Ensuring compliance with routing and scheduling
  • Supervising employees
  • Communicating and conducting interpersonal relations in industry
  • Ensuring compliance with routing and scheduling
Admission Requirements
It is assumed that learners accessing this programme are competent in Communication at NQF Level 2 and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 2
