This programme will enable the learner to effectively operate within the freight handling environment.The skills required in the handling of freight are dependent upon the knowledgeable learner who is able to comply with the relevant procedures and apply the necessary skills to their working environment.

admission requirements

It is assumed that learners accessing this programme are competent in Communication at NQF Level 2 and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 2.

What can Students Expect?
Duration
1 - 2 years

This programme can be completed over a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of two.

Contact sessions will provide the learner with the interpersonal support for the learning to take place. Furthermore, a workplace component will allow the learner to apply knowledge learnt in a workplace environment.

This programme is aimed at providing learners in the freight sector with:
