This programme is developed to prepare the learner’s role as an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner (OHSP). An OHSP serve as organisers, mentors and inspectors regarding all staff members in the workplace concerning health and safety. Recording and investigating incidents and implementation and maintenance of Occupational Health and Safety management systems.

Assessment & Certification

Achievement of this qualification is measured through a two-stage process:

  • Integrated Formative Assessment: Ongoing internal evaluations guided by your skills development provider to ensure you are ready for final testing.
  • External Integrated Summative Assessment: A final two-day evaluation conducted by the QCTO Assessment Quality Partner.
  • Certification: Successful learners will be issued the Occupational Certificate: Road Transport Manager by the QCTO.
