OLG Higher Education Access Modules

Duration: MUST BE COMPLETED IN A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS AND A MAXIMUM OF 1 YEAR

The OLG Access Programme enables individuals to elevate their numeracy and English skills.

If you are one of the following individuals then this Programme is for you: School leavers who do not meet the minimum requirements to do a Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5). Individuals who are employed but want to develop themselves academically in order to study further Higher Education qualifications. Candidates over the age of 45 must have the equivalent of Grade 8 English level of competence.

Admission Requirements

Open to candidates who have not obtained a Matric Certificate. Candidates must be over the age of 23 and have at least two years of work experience in a related field (you will need to provide a CV). Candidates over the age of 45 must have the equivalent of Grade 8 English level of competence.

Please note: Prospective students over 23 years of age who do not meet the minimum requirements could apply to the Registrar for possible admission through Recognition of Prior Learning or gain approval to complete the OLG Higher Education Access Modules
